Aksha Kamboj, Executive Director of KBJ Group, emphasizes the significance and need for sustainable fashion

Aksha Kamboj, wife of Mohit Kamboj aka Mohit Bharatiya, is the current executive director of KBJ Group. She is also the mother of two children named Mishka Kamboj and Avyaan Kamboj. A Mumbai-based company, KBJ Group is a conglomerate that has its holding in hospitality, real estate, agriculture, bullion, and jewellery.

Being the leader of a business as huge as the KBJ Group, Aksha Kamboj is aware of the social and environmental responsibility that rests on her shoulders. “The more we grow as a business, the more grows the responsibility on our shoulders,” she said. Extending this responsibility to her personal life and mantra, Aksha Kamboj is a strong proponent of adopting sustainable fashion. Her husband Mohit Kamboj aka Mohit Bharatiya too practices the same.

Fashion and clothing are an inevitable part of human life. Recognizing their omnipresence and impact, Aksha Kamboj believes that sustainable fashion should be a way of life. “Sustainable fashion is ethical fashion. We need to adopt clothing that comes from a place of ecological integrity and social justice,” remarked Aksha Kamboj on the subject. She believes that the planet and its inhabitants both should be subjects of concern when looking at clothing. According to Aksha Kamboj and her husband, Mohit Kamboj aka Mohit Bharatiya, sustainable fashion is the way to a healthy environment and society.

Aksha Kamboj extends her conviction toward sustainable fashion to her family as well. She and her husband Mohit Kamboj aka Mohit Bharatiya both work to instill the same sense of responsibility in their children Mishka Kamboj and Avyaan Kamboj.
