NeoDx Biotech Labs was awarded the ‘Best Startup against COVID-19’ at the Bengaluru Tech Summit, 2021.
NeoDx was founded amidst the pandemic, with the foundation laid in May 2020. Since then, NeoDx has touched the lives of many with over 5 Million tests, by creating an efficient supply chain that ensures uninterrupted supply of quality products in a viable domestic market.
The award was presented to Dr. Prabhakar Kulkari, Co-founder, CEO, and Harkaran Dhingra, Co-Founder, Director, NeoDx Biotech Labs by Smt Meena Nagaraj. C.N, IAS., G. S. Krishnan, Hon. President, ABLE Regional President, Dr. Ashwath Narayan, Minister for Electronics & IT/BT, Science & Technology, and Dr. E.V. Ramana Reddy, IAS.
The Department of Electronics, IT, BT, and S&T, Government of Karnataka constituted the Smart Bio Awards that honors start-ups that exhibit Leading-edge technology with dynamic leadership which creates a firm that stands uniquely apart in its contributions in their respective domain of Biotechnology.
Speaking about the event, Dr. Prabhakar Kulkarni, Co-Founder & CEO, NeoDx Biotech Labs said ‘It has been a challenging time for everyone in the world. However, we took up the challenge to provide every lab and diagnostic center with high-quality products at affordable prices. Being recognized with the Smart Bio Award 2021 motivates us to continue creating Molecular Diagnostic products that find applications in In-vitro diagnostic Labs, which give results that are accurate, fast, and cost-effective.”

NeoDx Biotech Labs is expanding its portfolio and targeting infectious and non-infectious diseases, along with a strategic marketing plan to expand its presence in both domestic and international markets.
NeoDx’s portfolio includes diseases of significance, including HIV, HCV, HBV, and Influenza, amongst others. NeoDx is working towards releasing 100 innovative rapid RT-PCR kits for molecular diagnostics of infectious as well as non-infectious diseases.
The 24th edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit, a three-day event, saw the participation of over 210 start-ups from diverse fields showcased their products including, IoT, Healthcare, Medtech, Agritech, Fintech, Edutech, Mobility Sectors, Biotechnology, and more.
